On March 1, 2020, the Treasure Coast Symphony Orchestra took to the stage, under the baton of maestro Robert Navarro, to present their annual Is It All About The Pops? concert. The fifty-piece orchestra, currently celebrating its 35th anniversary, presented a rich and musically challenging program that included classics, overtures, familiar and modern pieces. During the sold-out, standing room only concert, the audience was treated to The Pink Panther, Music Man Salute to the Cinema, Paris Interlude, La Boda de Luis Alonso, Video Games Live Suite, Die Fledermaus Overture, Salute to the Big Apple and Danzón No.2.
The Treasure Coast Symphony Orchestra sought out the expertise of long time producer, composer and conductor Robert Navarro to bring together this rather demanding repertory. Navarro, who is accustomed to composing for and working with large ensembles worked with the orchestra for several months preparing the musicians to perform this heroic and ambitious concert.
